New Holland’s park was largely inspired by the famous public gardens of Paris. This influence reveals itself in the park’s furnishings, which recall that of the gardens of the Tuileries or Luxembourg. Pétanque plays an integral role in both these parks and is rapidly gaining popularity here in Russia. The island now features two courts for this highly enjoyable game.
